When I first heard "Final Approach", I was brought to tears by the simplistic beauty of Jeffs horn playing. Not many musicians can bring this music lover/player/singer to tears. Everytime I hear that song now, (had to buy the cd, you know), I am covered in goosebumps. Jeff, you touched a part of my soul that very very few have touched. Keep up the fantastic work! And if you come to Florida, please let this fan know!

can't w a i t to hear the new work ....

can't w a i t to hear you all in concert....

just a little nervous though... putting a live show together is no piece of cake!!! ...but it is so worth it once we get to hear that magic come to life in front of my own eyes and ears.. ..sharing that with others.. being able to feel that and really experience the love you and Patrick Gorman, Jeff Pearce and Will Ackerman have for your passions... that love is truly what separates performers from artists...

Having been raised on Herb Alpert, Al Hirt and that style of music (so many years ago), I've always enjoyed horns. Then it was off to Rock & Metal as I went through my teenage and 'young adult' years. Growing up seems to be bringing me full circle.. with a bit of a twist. Funny how the older I've gotten the more I appreciate the music my Dad used to listen to. I wish he was still here to listen to Luis Aquino's playing on Yanni's "Dance with a Stranger" - what a flood of warm memories that brought back, and Herb Alpert's Rise... and Chris Botti... Great memories - that are just a little smoother... Then I heard "As I Live and Breathe" on MusicChoice's Soundscapes - and I was hooked!! Bought the CD, headed down to the beach, hit play and shared it with my dad... He would have enjoyed it as much as I do. A wonderful new frontier for such an amazing instrument, and a Truly Beautiful collection of songs!!! Warmest Wishes for Continued Success on your next CD!!!

Jeff your music is truly beautiful. As I Live and Breath really caught my attention, which led me to do a little research of your music. Big Sur is really great too - the fact that you made a music honoring the beautiful Big Sur (which is the masterpiece from nature, I love Big Sur) says a lot about you. keep producing the great music!!!

......your music on that cd i eagerly await will be b e y o n d my hopes or expectations...... every o n e of the songs are masterful and without flaw ... w a y beyond music at that point......they are the sounds that drew me to the internet station i've been listening to .....don't know the name, just that it uses "the world's smothest jazz" in the title on itunes and winamp........

i have to have heard only one song only five or six times and i t threw my heart out of its sockets...... to fully enjoy it w h e n e v e r i wish....last.fm has several of these songs in there that I can hear to completion and they are all, every one astounding...... but J..... the one that calls me out is Final Approach the original.....

here in idaho its not hard to find places to mezmorize your soul by the beauty, but it is hard to find a resounding melody of any sort that just shakes the sky for attention.... THAT is this piece of a r t i can never get tired of it....... only if you change my view of it by adding something without my permission....... ha.... but you'd never do that so this a r t shall remain unmatched and unimaginably gorgeous f o r e v e r ...

Dear Jeff,

Although I will always consider San Diego and (California) my first home, I now reside in Charlotte, NC. While on a recent business convention in Asheville, NC I had the distinct pleasure of being introduced to your musical talent.

Like those unforgettable moments in life (1st time meeting your wife, etc) the first moment I heard your music will live with me forever. I was in a very tranquil mood and browsing through one of the many book/spiritual/new age shops located there.

As I was looking at the books and art objects I became entranced with the haunting and transcending tones of your new CD, Released. I have since repeatedly played the CD with particular repeated playing of cut # 3, Final Approach. Your unique phrasing and hypnotic tone on that piece has since become one of my all-time favorite pieces of music. It creates many deep inner thoughts and feelings.

In addition, I introduced this CD to my Yoga teacher who has since played it during her classes. This in turn has introduced many new people to your music and they seem to share my feelings with expressions of “who is that?, that is beautiful!.

I want to personally thank you for your dedication and skill. Your musical expression has become a part of my life and one that I eagerly await to share with others. Please bring us more.

Most sincerely,

Richard Veckruise
